Paranormal Activity 2
« on: October 23, 2010, 07:58:35 am »
Anyone seen it yet?  Went last night and I was pleasantly surprised.  It didn't terrify me like the original (and I mean the non-theatrical release, without the hokey Steven Spielberg ending,) and it uses a lot of the same tricks, but it had some good scares and an interesting twist.

The lady in front of me kept saying "Give me the keys, I'm waiting in the car!"

I thought the first movie was stupid it took forever to get into it, then once you were into it, it just ends. So i doubt i will see the new one.   :peace:

I think they take too long to get into the story, It reminds me of the Blair Witch Project,,,,,,,,but might be worth the 10 dollars for something to do.  ::)

I liked the first one but the ending was dumb. Just saw the second one and it seemed like it took a long time for anything really interesting to happen and once again I thought the ending was dumb. But overall I liked both of them. The first one scared me more though, I don't know why.

I'll probably wait for the dvd.
The new film probably isn't as scary as the first because at this point we know what to expect to happen:
loud noises, things moving without anyone around, and the preview shows someone getting dragged by no one, which happened in the first film.
