Little Girls
« on: October 11, 2010, 07:00:20 pm »
Okay...

As a mommy of a daughter,

I see some parents that dress their baby girl in some of the most "unappropriate" outfits!

It really aggrivates me because as it is, teen pregnancy is reaching it's all time high.

Should parents show more respect for themselves and their baby daughter by putting more appropriate outfits on her?

Or should they continue to dress her the way that guys/boys will eventually look at her like she is a "piece of meat"?

think they need to be dressed appropriately. There is too much body showing by the older ones as it is.

there's a time and a place to pick your clothing battles.
I DON'T agree with things like the "tiara and toddlers" nonsense, and as a dancer, I really hate when dance teachers pick the tiniest costumes possible for their child dancers.  there are many other choices.
as long as the kid's covered (and that goes for little boys too!! ie boxers hanging out), I won't argue much.

I think its absolutely ridiculous. I see like 15 year old girls with their parents and you can see their butts hanging out the bottom of their shorts. I almost want to walk up to the parent and say why don't you buy your daughter some bigger shorts because her *bleep* is hanging out. There is no way that I will ever buy anything like that for my daughters. They would not be allowed out of the house like that. I just don't understand why parents would let their children dress like that. I mean do they want grandchildren that bad??

I have a young daughter & i pick & buy her clothes. No skimpy outfits for my daughter!  The way some girls dress these days it just outrageous & disrespectful not only to others but to themselves.

Kune--

You are totally creeping me out!

As for dressing up, dressing doesn't really affect anything so as long as they're covered up.
