What do people like me do on holydays .

I live on a fixed income. Or as I like to call it not fixed. I know, what have I got to gripe about. There are those with less.

I believe it it Holidays. At least that is what I think they are talking about. Yeah, times are tough and it is hard to take a vacation or go anywhere for a holiday. Most people are doing "Staycations".

I absolutely LOVE halloween. Not sure why. I do love to dress up in costume and put on loads of makeup. I guess it is the theater in my blood. My dad, mom and brother were all actors (just local theater), so I have seen a lot of plays. I don't do anything for Halloween, but maybe this year I will dress up and hand out candy.

Well being broke don't have to stop you from having a good time you can make a costume out of just about anything if you have the imaginatio, we have really commercialized christmas, butI always like a Christmas where we celebrate jesus's birthday not what presents we get, I'm getting to where I'm not much for tradition (well that of todays tradition) so I like to mix it up on holidays we do whatever is feasible to do sometimes it's making gifts, sometimes it's volentering , but we always have good food!!!! I'm a great cook and if a turkey isn't in the cards we can make anything a speacil meal so I guess celebrate however you feel comfortable but celebrate!!!!!!

Exactly...this year, I will be Rosie the Riveter.  I don't need to buy anything for my costume.
