I sent out a referral and they can't sign up?

My referral keeps getting the error code that their email address is not valid?  They are at the registration page where this is saying this.  What may cause this and how do they fix it?

Suggest you send a trouble ticket to support with the email address in question.  It may be that the email address is not "US" or of a type that FC finds unacceptable. But you need to get the answer from FC directly.
