Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was introduced) Roosevelt said “Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land.”

Today, Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I was so depressed last night thinking about health care plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called a Suicide Hotline. I had to press 1 for English. I was connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck…

  hahaha... thats horrible... but true...

That was extremely funny...and yet not funny at the same time.  Especially since most of those things you listed are real problems people are having (like a job for me, for example).

I think that if companies here want to stay "American" companies, then they should have to have more than 90% of their employees (maybe even 95%) be American citizens (or lega immigrants with work permits) located on American soil (as in continental US, Alaska/Hawaii, and maybe Puerto Rico).

Guess what when the welfare system was created, caucasians are the the only ones who benefited.  Obama did not cause this problem he stepped into the quagmire that Bush left.  Put the blame where it belongs.  The economy is awful and its affecting everybody. which is depressing.

Bush may have started this problem, but I can assure you that Obama is making sure it stays that way and gets worse. The blame is with the idiot in power now not the past. Obama wants and is doing a great job of creating a communist America. His healthcare plan is a sham. Job creation is a joke. And yes taxes are sneaking up. America's deficit is the highest it as ever been in history, and who can we thank for that? Yes Obama the man who takes 8 vacations by October and there is still 2 months left, how many more vacations can he squeeze in by the end of the year? Its such  shame that a great country such as ours has been reduced to a mere shell.
So, yes animikokala, I agree with you, and it is the sad truth. Sorry that some people may be offended by the truth, but I don't really care. The people I offend are liberal idiots that voted for Obama in the first place. So shame on you liberals for helping to create this mess.

For one, when I posted this, I wasn't blaming Obama or anyone for that matter. But just as Irishlady has stated, Obama sure is making sure it stays this way. He's the one that made all the empty promises. In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan. But I do agree, the economy is very depressing...
