Russell Tyrone Jones (November 15, 1968 – November 13, 2004) was an American rapper and occasional producer, who went by the stage name "Ol' Dirty *bleep*" or simply "ODB". He was one of the founding members of the hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan.

Ol' Dirty *bleep* simultaneously brought a measure of humor and a touch of the absurd to the Wu-Tang Clan. Often noted for his unusual microphone technique (critic Steve Huey writes of Jones' "outrageously profane, free-associative rhymes" delivered "in a distinctive half-rapped, half-sung style"), Jones' stage name came from a 1980 kung fu film entitled Ol' Dirty and the *bleep*, the relevance of which was articulated by Method Man's assertion that there was "no father" to Jones' style.

After establishing the Wu-Tang Clan, Ol' Dirty *bleep* went on to a successful solo career. However, his professional success was hampered by erratic personal behavior and frequent legal troubles, including incarceration. He died in late 2004 of an accidental drug overdose, two days before his 36th birthday

I am definitely not a fan of rappers.   For the most part you can't understand a thing they say and most of it is too crude.
I just have to defend the true artists in rap. but you're right most of them do just talk about pointless  :bs:

i agree with you guys about whats coming out now mostly southern rap but you cant knock the whole thing because of theones who dont know how to express themselves with out dropping a curse or degrading women in everyline. there are alot of rappers who speak about change and various other view points of whats going on today. besides theres alot of music that noone can understand what they are saying ex. hardcore rock where the lead vocalist is screaming  inaudibly..

Those who say cursing throughout the song is pathetic or whatever. Then dont listen to rap! It's just words and if your offended get over it and stop listening! There's enough haterz in this game. Quit yo bitchin

I never said white boys can't rap.  They Just can't rap good. Jay can flow with ease while eminem sounds like he's only talking. His lyrics are very stupid and annoying. Sorry.!
