dependson the age and what time they get up if they take naps and how long of a nap. Once a childstarts school it may all depend on how hard it is to get them up in the morn.

My daughter is 2, and as long as she's not up past midnight, I don't stress.  She sleeps a full ten hours every night, and her daddy works late, so it makes it easier on us for her to be a night owl.  That will change, though, once she's ready for school...although we're debating about homeschooling vs. public school still.

I would say around 9 during school year and summer 11 depends on their age.

I am all for home schooling, but my man isnt he says they need the experience of being around others their age and learning to cope with certain situations that may come up by going to a public school.

I know, right?  There is so much to debate about homeschooling.  I've known many kids that were homeschooled, though, and they seem to do just as well with social situations as those who weren't.  In my work as a substitute teacher, I've found that kids just aren't learning like they should be, though, and it worries me.  There is a delicate balance there and it takes some work figuring it out.

I think the younger the child is the closer to 10 hours of sleep a night. My 15 year old goes to bed at 10:30 during the school week. During summer or FRi& Sat night I don't care too much, especially summer.

Babies can go to bed whenever as they sleep most of the time anyway but 1yr through 10yrs should go by 8pm n others can go by 9pm.

I think kids should go to bed about 9:30, but it depends obn what time they need to get up.  Youngsters should get between 8 and 9 hours a nite.

Between 2000-2200! I always thought it was the dumbest idea to put your children to bed around 1800-1900!!! WHY in the heck would your child want to go to bed, when its still daylight????

Depending on their age, I'll say between 8-10PM.

Most of the kids who are not learning as they should dont have parents who are willing to help. My exhusbands brother and wife worked hours where they could be home when their daughter was always complained about her grades but never bothered lifting a finger to help or get some one to help her. Always got me upset.

Growing up we always knew when it started to get dark out side it would almost be time for bed no matter the actual time.

I think if they are under 10 then 8 pm is a good time. 10 to 12 should be in bed by 9.
