well ..i say i graduated with my class of '04 coz i went to get my ged after finding out that i didnt graduate high school and even though i went everyday ..i was 8 credits (a whole year) behind. as soon as i turned 18 a few weeks after( no drop out papers were signed so no i didnt drop out) my class had graduated i signed up for my ged. i originally wanted to just take a my test and be done with it .. but dad.. being the one who probably had worse trouble then i didnt in school( which would explain why he dropped out sophmore or junior yr) would want to take classes to be ready for the test. so, he put me in classes. ok, me being just out of high school i had the confidence in myself to just do my tests and pass it no problem.. but dad insisted hard that i must take classes. ok, so i went to the damn classes.. but what they were teaching, they were basically teaching to the "older" people in the class who have been out of school for decades. ...not us -younger, & just out of high school- people. i was trying to pay attention but it just got boring coz i wasnt being challenged. the stuff that they were teaching me i had already knew. i said screw it and went to take my tests, i did one over coz i didnt like my score.. even though i had passed. i just wanted more points and i knew i could get a better grade so i took it over and got a better grade. i dont remember what month i actually finished my tests but all i know is that me ged came some time after that. i was waiting for the mail to be delivered that week and when it did i saw a big envelope in the mail persons hands.. i had a feeling it was for me but i couldnt be sure until they handed it to me and i was like OMG it's from the ged place. i opened it and saw congrats u have passed. and i had gotten my ged. i was so happy that day!! once my mom knew i had done it she hugged me and we jumped up for joy for a long time. she was so proud of me. so now 2/4 people in my immediate family has their ged. me.. and my mother. she got hers 1 yr before i was born. i'm glad she did it. BUT NO SHE DIDNT DROP OUT EITHER.
