Why are people petty?

You have probably heard this one before but it bears repeating: Petty people--those who try to make you feel inferior every chance they get--probably feel inferior to you and most everyone else. By putting you down they are probably trying to make themselves feel better. While you may have heard this time and again, it is often hard to keep this in mind when you are constantly berated.

   We all know why you are making this post.  Do me a favor, take what you wrote and study it for yourself, as well.  Maybe it will help you see the main picture that we aren't the bad guys you seem to imply/outright accuse.  "What's good for the goose is good for the gander."
