DIRECT DEPOSIT

Hi everyone!

I want to do the direct deposit thing but I do not have a checking account.  I used my husband's checking account on PayPal to transfer my paypal money into and it wasn't a problem.  The thing is, I am not on my husband's account.  I thought I'd try it on Paypal to see if it worked and it did!  So my question is...will it be okay if I use my husband's checking account for the direct deposit?

Fc probably wants folks to use accounts that belong to the person they are making the payments too...but i guess if it was me would go to obopay dot com, get an Obopay prepaid card (that comes with $10 already on it i might add)...get the routing and account number to the card..come back to fusion cash...enter the info on the direct deposit form an have MY money sent to ME like that...

..or i would add MY name to my husbands account at least...

The name on your FusionCash account must be on the bank account (it's okay if you're on as a secondary or co-signer, but it needs to be printed on the bank statement).  If it does not match, the bank will often reject the direct deposit payment.

no, my friend..... i was 100% serious.

i am a FIRM believer in both parties having seperate accounts and one household account.

even if the individual accounts only get a few bucks each week.... over the years, it adds up.

 

edited to add.... i and my ex-wife.... have drilled that into our daughters head.... along with.... I DO NOT CARE HOW MUCH YOU LOVE A MAN, NEVER "LEND" HIM MONEY.

and.... while money isnt everything..... its DAMN important... protect yours.

jlb i agree...but lets not have that young lady feel like we're picking on her..

im an overprotective mom cuz of what i have witnessed people go thru..so

I also tell my son not to mix up his money with anybody else's...

(3) accounts...his...hers...the households...and i tell him to not fall for that macho.."im the man of the house i control the money" stuff..its not cute and it makes her dependent on him..and i dont want a weak daughter 'n law

I think its awesome that there are some marriages that do seem to last forever, but im a cynic..i dont trust but two people in this world when it comes to my money...i have had my head bumped too many times being too trusting...i wish i had all the damn money i loaned out an never got back thats for damn sure!...lol

im so happy many single and stay at home moms use these sites...its empowering..
