I don't care, whatever...whatever happens, happens - I have no say or power to stop anything, so I just don't get involved.

then you have no reason to be entering into anymore governmental debates on this forum, you probably don't even vote. If you don't care about the government feel free to keep your mouth shut from now on, and obviously you care considering you posted a topic with Bush's name in the title

In all honesty i was not too keen on Obama in the office. To be fair though by time he got into office we were all screwed already. I believe he has been trying to do the best he can with the situation he had been handed. I do not believe any one could have us back where the "people" want us to be as quickly as the "people" demanded it. Does not matter who the president is some one is always going to like them and others will never like them.

Thank you!  I do not support him overall.  First off, I would like to see proof of eligibility to be in this office of President.  I do not like or feel good about some of the ties he has with certain groups (not named for now because I don't want to start sparks of fire.)  With these groups and the things he's done/supported/changed, I feel we are headed for more of a socialist nation.  We were not started that way and I do not like the possibility of losing certain freedoms and being controlled more and more by the government. I'll add more later. :)

the president has very little control over the issues rigt now. EVERYONE in his administration are wall street people. Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commitee, and Council on foriegn relations. He is allowing the federal reserve bank to gain power in the government. they are hoarding trillions of dollars and buying out insurance companies, media empires, and other banks and other businesses. Obama is just a false image and false hope. He's simply picking up and spreading what bush left behind.

I voted for Obama.

I was disillusioned with McCain and his neck-breaking flip-flopping, plus Sarah Palin makes me physically ill.  I also was a Biden supporter in the primaries...although, I was saddened by the way he jumped to attention when Obama offered him the position of running mate.  I figured voting Obama was voting the lesser of two evils.  He seemed to be in line ideologically with my beliefs when I would read about him online, but I have yet to see him deliver on his promise of hope...although, the man has only been in office less than 21 months.  You can't fix 8 years in less than 2.  In all honesty, I believed Clinton/Gore were on the right track to "fixing," for lack of a better word, the mess this country is in.  Clinton/Gore were on the track of fixing 12 years of Reaganomics and Bush mistakes in 8 years (with about a decade left of work)...let's give Obama a bit more time.

Obama is only in office because the elite want him there. he flooded the white house with wall street guys and he's allowing the banks to do what JFK, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln warned of. Obama is simply there to give the people false hope and distract them from who's really in power. Research the Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commitee and Council on Foriegn relations. Find out that everyone in his administration is a member of all three groups simultaniously. only a couple are a member of just one. Find out that he's passing bailouts for the federal reserve to contnue to hoard money and rob this nations people and buy *bleep* like insurance companies, banks, media empires, other businesses. Everyone thinks "oh obama has hope, he'll save us, give em a while, he can't do it overnight". well obama's not going to do a damn thing for anybody except the elite that controls him. do the research and you can find out.

I agree Amy it did take Clinton and Staff a while to get everything back on track and if I remember correctly it was not till their second term that things started to really look up for every one. Even though Obamas term so far does not look promising I believe he is trying his best under the circumstances. For one he is actually trying to bring our troops back home and he has done what he can for now for the unemployeement. I believe once every one starts looking at what he has done for the good and is trying to do for the good everything might run a bit smoother.

bringing troops home then sending 30,000 more right over dosen't count in my book. he could have easily industrialized hemp. then we would have millions of new jobs to produce millions of new quality products. that would have created jobs. he was confronted with this question and made a joke about it. pardon my freedom of speech but obama isn't *bleep*, ron paul would have did better than obama. obama dosen't even deserve the title of president. he's a puppet to wall street and the federal reserve.

That's what I say:  people aren't really seeing the whole picture later down the road with this president.

I do differ regarding Reagan and Bush.  They cleared up many things as presidents.  Reagan's authority and wisdom had this country's economy turned around for the people. Now look where it's going.   :P         :)

In all honesty...you aren't going to find a politician worth much because anyone would have to be certifiable to want to take the job of President...or any of the supporting law making roles.  There is so much responsibility, and you really can't please everyone.  No matter who it is that is in office, the same statement will come about...In all honesty, Plato via Aristotle had it right...no one in the role of President will deserve the role, because no person of character will want the role.  Every four years, it is up to Americans to choose the lesser of two evils.  Any president will be a puppet to the interest groups behind their election and re-election.  The day after Obama won the election, he began his re-election campaign.

And, in all honesty, I don't see anyone industrializing hemp anytime soon.  Its too taboo, regardless of how helpful it may be.

I'm definitely going to have to agree to disagree on that one.  Trickle-down economics was only good for the rich...but I do understand that anything I may say negative about Reagan will have to stand up to much scrutiny considering how beloved the Gipper was.  :D
