Well I met my husband online lol! So yeah I most certainly kissed him on our first "date". I had known him for a year before I met him though. I told him I loved him before I had even seen a picture of him LOL! I just knew! ♥ We have been together for 5 years now and are still very much in love!

That's awesome! I'm nervous to meet a guy I met online. He's coming here to MI from NJ to meet me. We've been talking now on the phone for 8 months. We can talk for hours about anything it's so wierd. He's a really sweet guy, and he's cute in his pics and even if for some odd reason we don't hit it off, we decided we'll always be best friends. It's nice to hear success stories though congrats!

3 months..? Is that a joke, or..? I mean I guess there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you want I'm just confused.

I guess I would if I felt like it, I dunno because I've never really been "dating" much. I always seem to land myself in one long term relationship after another and I'm only 18.. I didn't kiss my boyfriend on our first date but I totally should have, haha. :]

Lol! Well my husband and I knew each other for about 5 months before we started dating. In those 5 months we both knew that we liked each other. It was obvious to everyone else but neither one of us had said anything. Finally, I tell him that I like him and he blushed so red like a tomato. He took a few minutes to digest what I just told him and he told me he felt the same way and that he'd been wanting to tell me for a long time but he didn't dare. He thought I would reject him. As soon as he said that, he held me close to him and kissed me for the very first time. So I would say yes, when you know a person for a while, and it's love at first sight. By all means kiss on that first date. Just as long as you know for sure that the feeling is mutual. If you're not sure about the guy don't do it. From that day on, we dated for 4 yrs. and then he proposed. Now we've been married for 2 yrs. and 2 months. A total of 6 yrs. together. Love is awesome.

A good-bye kiss on the cheek is harmless, but anything more than that is risky business! I would want to know the guy a little bit better before I start playing tonsil-hockey with him, especially how many girls he's been with! If we liked each other, his track record was clean, and it was about the 3rd or 4th date, hey why not go in for a smooch?

It isn't weird at all if you think about it! When you meet someone online and talk every day you get very close very fast! You don't know them so you are able to talk to them easily and end up knowing each other better then people you have known for years! I wish you and your sweetheart all the best!

I think it all just depends...if you are really comfortable with the person then it's a possibility. the guy that i am with now we did kiss on out first date, but we had been friends fro several months prior to us going on an actual "date"

With my boyfriend and me we got to be best friends fast. It was not long before I reaized I was faling for him. At the time I was in MN and he in GA. I got to where I really valued his opinion to the point when I moved back to TN and an old BF wanted to try and get back together I asked him if it was ok first. He said it was come tofind out later he was also falling for me and since we were in two different states he thought it better to keep it to hisself and let me go out with the guy cause he wanted me to be happy. After a few weeks I reallized it woul not work with the guy he never wanted to actually spend time with me. A few months later my boyfriend and I got to talking and instead of him saying he liked being my best friend he said boyfriend and that sealed it. lol I teased him about it for a bit before I told him that i thought being his girl would be great. That was beginning of Feb. We have gotten to spend three weeks together and they were the best. I kissed him as soon as I saw him that was middle of June, but by this point we already knew quite about about each other.

Needless to say you will know if it feels right and just go with your instincts.

I hate to say it, but I kissed my wife before we even had a date. We met at a dance and I kissed her goodnight when we left, now 6 kids and 39 years later we are still doing it.
