I always use bronzer and a TON of blush ever since I saw this girl and she looked cute with a lot of blush.  Today I made a nightmare of a discovery.  Well, you know how they say to put your make-up on in a well lite room?  I thought I did, but today in the bathroom at work I looked up and noticed that my blush was way too strong and looked horrible.  How can I make sure I put just the right amount on?

other than certain halloween costumes, i have never worn blush so i really don't know how to apply it. same goes for eyeliner

I have never personally seen where tons of blush was cute. I put my make up on in whatever lighting is available and I don't ever have any probs. The trick is to use a complimenting blush to your skin tone. The darker you the the more deeper the shade you want to use. The more fair complected you are the pinker.

A little blush actually goes a long way. Use an angled blush brush to brush the powder over the apples of your cheeks and up into the hair line. Lightly brush your nose, chin and your forehead at your hairline. This gives you a sun kissed glow. You want it to be subtle though so don't go overboard.
