Using virtual phone number

The only problem with k7 is it's a fixed area code and some offers require it to be in your state. I got a Magic Jack instead and it solves that problem. My number has my local area code. It does cost me $20 a year, but I make a lot more than that online and I have another phone.

I've always wondered if those things really worked. So you get a whole new number and just plug in another phone? Is the line quality as good as your normal line?

Works fine for me. I mainly use the voice mail so if they sound serious I can call them back on my main phone.
