I haven't done this in a while.  I'm doing the benefits of eating strawberries.  The avocados didn't go over to well.  First, did you know there are 600 varieties of strawberries?  Well, there are!  I didn't know this until today.

Strawberries are a potent antioxidant and they have repeatedly shown to help protect cell structures in the body and to prevent oxygen damage.  Strawberries are an all-in-one anti-cancer, heart-protective, and anti-inflammatory fruit.  In fact in one report, strawberries topped a list of eight foods most linked to the lower rates of cancer deaths.  They also protect against macular degeneration.  Like carrots, this fruit may help you to keep your eye-sight.  Strawberries may also protect against rheumatoid arthritis.

Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese.  They are also a very good source of dietary fiber, iodine, potassium, folate, riboflavin, vitamin B5, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B6, vitamin K, magnesium, and copper.
