Why do Christians hate atheists?

What's funny to me is that many of you act like because we're Christians we think we are better than you.

That's not the case.

When I say I'm a Christian I'm admitting I am weak, I'm not talking out of pride or conceit...I am a sinner and I stray from the path but I have Christ to guide me...I'm not saying I'm a Christian to prove I'm a stronger person than you, my God is a strong God and is there to give me strength.

I am one of the most strong-minded people I know, I don't get my feelings hurt, I am determined...but even I am weak and need Jesus.

How in any way does me being a Christian mean I am trying to say I'm better than you. That's what you WANT to hear, because then you would have something to throw in my face.

What belief and religion is this exactly...since you said you weren't Christian and Christians are taught to love their enemies (love doesn't entail conditional respect)....so what pray tell is your religion marie? Just so people know what religion they are to refrain from disrespecting in regards to you.
