Tasks
« on: August 19, 2010, 08:10:20 am »
Has anyone completed any of the tasks that require you to copy and paste info in the boxes? For some reason, they always say I'm not putting in the correct info. I'm following the directions and spending a lot of time on these but I never get them completed.      :BangHead:

I feel your pain.  I tried one of those business leader info ones yesterday (I believe it was for $1.00).  They kept telling me I was putting in the wrong bio info, yet when they showed me what they said was correct, it matched IDENTICALLY.  I finally got on a decent stretch with no 'errors', and after close to an hour and 90% of the way done (the hour thing was ridiculous in itself, since they claimed it would take 30 minutes or less), they again said I was putting in wrong bio info.  The funny thing is, what they said was correct matched mine identically, except for the very last sentence.  Their 'correct' bio had the last sentence cut off in mid sentence... ie. "Joe Smith graduated from' and my 'wrong one' was a complete 'Joe Smith graduated from UCLA in 1994'.  I was then disqualified because my accuracy fell below 75%, so all that headache for nothing.  :BangHead:  Never again for those types of tasks.

They should either make these things simpler or pay more for them, because right now it's not worth the effort. :dontknow:

I have never had luck, so I just don't do them.  I only do the ones that I feel are worth my time and effort.

I've found a few that I can work well, and some I just have no clue on.  When I have time on the weekends, I'll try out some new tasks to see how well I can pick up on what to do.  I've found a good strategy for me is if I feel like I hit a brick wall on the first sheet or two, clearly I'm not getting it (or the task is unusually buggy) - so I quick to save time.  Then just wait for tasks I know I should be able to do to come along.

I've found a good pace alternating between tasks and surveys to try to get some $ each day - seems to be working for me so far.

Ill usually go for the tasks I know are easy, but really never try the ones like the business leader info. I tried those one time and like Oryan20 it would tell me I had wrong info, when all I did was paste 1 extra word or sentence. Its not worth it.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm gonna try one more time. I'll post again later to let you all know if I had any luck or not.

I haven't done the ones where I have to copy things.  I just did the one where I watched a video and had to click on answers.  I will tell you that even though you get many of the same questions over and over you do have to hit the video each time in order to get the answers to go through.  I don't necessarily do all the tasks, I just kind of look for the ones that seem fun or do not require too much.

Yep, I'm gonna have to give it up. Easy video tasks are OK but the others are just too complicated and time consuming. If anyone else gets them figured out and can tell me exactly how to do them, I might try to do them again sometime but for now:   :BangHead:

Click on the offers page on the top of the page. Then under 'Offer Categories', click the 'Daily' link. Then scroll down to the bottom and click the box that says "'More Special Offers'. That should take you to a page where you see tabs for free, mobile, and daily tasks offers.
