What my husband and i have done is instead of going out and spending a large amount of money on a "piggy bank" that will only hold so much change/bills, we use this big storage container that stands about 2 1/2 feet tall and throw all our change in there and use an old plastic coffee container (washed out of course) and put any $1 spare bills we have in there.... its surprising how fast it all adds up.

I have a "piggy bank" shaped like a bear that i got for my 1st birthday...it's not in the best of shape anymore. As far as where to find one, i'm with everyone else on dollar stores and kids stores
