Does Anyone ever utilize partner survey sites like Toluna and MindSpring besides FC?  I have signed up for all of these sites but never done any surveys on them.  I am not a big fan of the "point" system versus direct payouts.

No I havent tried any of them.  I am a member of mypoints and have gotten at least 3-4 gifts cards that i have used at chillis, applebees, etc.  I love it.

I haven't tried any of these, but I might try them now that you made me aware of it.

I tried Toluna and I'm still doing it. I think their payout is way too high, though, and the points expire after 12 months. I would've reached cashout by now if I could qualify for their surveys, but I rarely find one that I qualify for.

I am with you I rarely if ever qualify for any of the surveys I am not sure why... Maybe someone out there may have some suggestions or helpful hints as to why some people qualify and some do not.
