I do wonder if Obama was white would all these negative comments be made.  The man is trying to help the country from going down a hole, the same thing Bush should have been doing before he left office.  Bush left this mess for Obama to clean up.  You all are always comlaining about the amount of vacations he and his family take , well he didn't take as many as Bush and for all your complaining and bitching you really don't know where Bush was really taking all his vacations.

Why don't all you nay sayers take a real look at Bush's record before continuing to blame Obama for everthing to include your chipped nails.  Bush cheated his way into the white house and lied at each step, why didn't you complain then?  Enough of trying to blame Obama for all the financial misery out there.  The funny thing about all this is with all the billions given to the banks and car dealers, the exectuives were still giving themselves million dollar bonuses and taking vacations on their yachts and guess what they were all white.

I seriously agree with this comment...if Obama was white this would have been a totaly different question. The real internal issue americans have is that this man is black but instead they externalize the wrong problems. untill someone comes out to talk about the real problem, there will be nothing he'll do right by americans.

Most of the problems this nation is currently experiencing were caused by Bush, it took him 8yrs to distroy what Bill Clinton had built in 8yrs, so u cannot expect obama to rebuild it in 2yrs. He is trying is best to clean up the mess George W Bush left behind. So please I am sick and tired of all this crazy accusations agains the poor man, one of you ppl can go n take his place for a day or two n see what its like to deal with y'all.

C'mon dude Clinton built something? He also bombed the middle east while he was in office. He, much like Obama, was pitched as a celebrity more than a president. America concentrating on entertainment more than politics, liked this.. They like Obama and Clinton for many of the same reasons. Comedians like Chris Rock even joke about Clinton being the first black president haha, a player of women and even the sax.  But what exactly did Clinton do that was great? And if Bush did so much wrong, why did Obama renew the Patriot ACT? Why does he send even more people to IRAQ/Afghanistan? Why does he not only continue the Bush policy, but further the agenda by actually making it worse? These are the reas questions that dont get answered, instead we hear about Michelle and Barak on television shows, or drinking beer with a policeman. haha Focus on personal life and not the politics,just like tiger woods or some *bleep* haha. Those who really speak out against him get to be labeled racist which is a nice bonus for those trying to brainwash the masses into believing Obama is a GOOD and trustworthy politician with power.

In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim. He may think he's a Christian, but they (Arabs & Muslims) do not.  His grandfather was named 'Hussein.' That is an Arabic-Muslim, NOT an African, name.   Hussein was a devout Muslim and named his son, Barack Senior, 'Baraka.' Baraka is an Arabic word meaning 'blessed.' Baraka comes out of the Koran and Arabic, NOT Africa.  Barack Senior was also a devoted Muslim, and also chose a Muslim name for his son,  Barack Obama, Junior (current president).  Again, his name was Arabic and Koranic.

This is the only time you will see me 'defending' Obama. If you go to the link, you will be able to read the interview and see that the statement was a complete misunderstanding as to Obama's answering a question about the campaign. It was then, as usual, sent out all over the Internet in it's incorrect form. I am not a fan of Obama and never will be, but I am a fan of the truth.

Sheryl, I just realized I should have been clearer on what I was saying when I posted that link. I was only attempting to right the particular thing you had written about ie the interview with George Stephanopoulos - try writing that all your life and as a kid, whew!

I have done quite a bit of 'digging' myself and have very adamant thoughts/views on what Obama's true background, including religious, entails. As you said, there ARE always attempts to explain, cover, backpeddle for him. That is a driving force behind much of my mistrust of him. He is more willing to speak with terrorists than he is with the citizens of this country who are in trouble in every way possible. I hope that cleared up what I was saying.(?)

Obama is not a leader of our country. He's a leader leading us down the road to communism. It has nothing to do with his race or color. He is an admitted Marxist, and most of the people he appointed as Czars are the same. He is spending so much money that America will never recover economically, and I think he's doing it on purpose to destroy this country and leave the pieces to be picked up by his communist regime. He is able to do this because so many people look at him as a celebrity, since they are led on like sheep by the media which adores him.
