Logging in to FC using an IPad?????

My macbook needs some work.  It is going to be at the Apple Store for a week or two.  I am buying an IPad and will be syncing it to my mac before I leave my computer at the store.    Will I be able to log in to FC from my IPad?     :dontknow:

As long as you are also linking to the same Internet Service Provider, you should be fine. The ISP is what FC goes by as far as identifying us. That's why the rules state only 1 account per household. Two people would show the same ISP unless they used a completely different provider for one of them. Hope that answers your question. :)

I opened a support ticket.   I use Road Runner for my computer but have AT&T for my IPad.   Support tells me that I should be able to log in using my IPad, do forum and check my account but that I will probably not get credited for doing offers.   However, I read the terms of agreement and what i read agrees with what you posted:  that you need to use the same internet service provider.   And the same computer.  Does that mean you can never buy a new computer?  or change internet providers?     :dontknow:

I haven't had trouble using two different computers.  I use me desktop part of the time and my netbook run off of my router the rest of the time.  I'm pretty computer ILLITERATE though so maybe that actually means I'm using the same one. :wave: :wave:

You can buy as many new computers as you want, as long as you keep the same Internet Service Provider. You said your I-Pad DOES have a different ISP, so that is why you won't be able to do offers.

If you happen to change ISP's, you just need to write FC and let them know in detail what you have done, BEFORE logging into your account and trying to complete offers. If you don't, it will appear as if you are trying to defraud the system. Also, it will not recognize your account and you won't be able to do any offers for money. I hope that was understandable. :)

Since you have your Netbook synched with your desktop, you ARE using the same network/ISP, correct. :thumbsup:

I tried to sync my IPad to my macbook but could not because I have Tiger Operating System and need Leopard.   I can buy Leopard for $170 but ....   I have mobileme so I am able to get my contacts, emails, etc etc.   I can download apps.    I have FC on my IPad home screen.   I am unable to sync it to ITunes, however, until I install White Leopard operating system in my mac.   And I am not certain that I will do that.   Lucky for me, I had my IPad activated at the Apple Store or I would not have been able to activate it.   
I do not know how familiar you are with mobileme but it unites all my Apple devices:  my laptop, my IPhone, my IPad ....

I opened a FC support ticket and was told that I could log into my FC account on my IPad but would probably have a bad crediting experience.  I would probably not get credit for completed offers, something having to do with cookies .....
But my computer is going into the shop for a week or more.   So I will not have access to any computer. 
I usually just do my daily email, paid to click and the videos.  I may try it.
But I do not want to have my FC account locked or I do not want to get banned from FC.    Do you know if I will be ok if I try to log on and do my paid to click using my IPad?

Since MobileMe is a web/internet linking application and not an Internet Service Provider it doesn't have a whole lot to do with your 'problem' as to the 2 different ISP's. Your I-Pad still has a different ISP, even though you have linked your e-mail, adresses, contacts, etc. with the MobileMe.

 I know if, say you went on vacation and had to use a computer furnished by a hotel, it would get you into trouble as far as paid offers because again it comes back to the different ISP. Personally, as much as I would hate to, I would NOT try any paid offers until I got my computer that FC 'knows' back. As far as this: "I would probably not get credit for completed offers, something having to do with cookies ....." that again comes back to what your ISP stores in your cache - where all your cookies are stored. Cookies are the little bits of info that get stored in your cache every time you visit a website. I guess it is up to you as far as trying any paid to clicks. IF something went awry, you have a copy of your communications with FC (yes?), and I highly doubt they would boot a member like you. You're honest, not trying to scam them, and already told them your problem. That's about the best answer I can give you. Good luck and I hope you get your Macbook back ahead of schedule! ;) :thumbsup:
