Wow, in my line of work. That was pretty insensitive of you to say yet funny @ the same time.
But sorry, I'm of Italian descent, NOT oriental!
.... glad you liked it.
i like animals too. but given the choice of saving a poor cow or eating it, i'll eat that *bleep*.
cats, dogs and horses, however.... are a different story.
BUT... if thats what i've known my entire life, i guess that wouldnt be a problem for me either.
Exactly! I was raised on a 200 acre Farm (only 10 acres was used for livestock). And we butchered & prepared our own meats for food and sale: Cows, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, lambs & turkeys.
Dad was away a lot (I was raised by a strict Military family). And getting up at 5am to gather eggs from the chicken coops & slopping the pigs before I had to begin my walk to school by 6:30am was an everyday occurance to me.
My foster Mom & I tended to the farm by oursleves while my Dad was away. So I was taught at an early age how to operate and maintain a farm...EVERY aspect of it. I was also taught how to hunt; deer, coon, etc. And I love to fish!
There is a difference between animals for food and animals as pets. Another thing I was taught at an early age- NEVER name or get close to any farm animal b/c in the end, he/she will become your meal!
