Fuel Prices

Has anybody cancelled their vacation this year because of fuel prices? I had no solid plans but won't waste time making any. What a drag during a beautiful summer. For those of you still going be careful out there! Too many idiots sitting behind steering wheels and they don't watch out for you!

we have been very careful on how much gas we have used.  its fustrating.  the only road trip i took was to get from Nebraska to Georgia cuz thats where i live--i was back in NE taking care of my ill mom.  It was so expensive to drive home.  I want to drive down to Florida for labor day weekend but i dont know if we can afford the gas

We didn't have any travel plans this year and I work from home so that helps a ton but we have had our far share of high gas prices this year. I'd hate to have to fill up every few days like some people I know

high gas prices=help reduce oil dependence...remember that thing called an oil spill from not too long ago??

I have not made any plans this summer but will take a lot of short trips, maybe go to Las Vegas or San Diego.

I drive a lot for work.  I will never complain about gas prices after having to drive an entire summer (2008) at 4.50+ per gallon.

 heck yeah u got that right!! i went only 250 miles away but it was alot of driving.. but i wasnt the one driving and i wouldnt do it.

I live in PA. and just went to Myrtle Beach. I have a Chevy Trailblazer EXT and it took between $200 and $250 in gas roundtrip!

We haven't had much vacationing in recent years, so we are taking a week, and possibly driving to our destination.
We need a week away, and while the gas prices sting, if they were 30 cents cheaper, we'd really only be saving $5 a tanks, so for an extra $20, the week away is worth it.

Vegas Man, win one for all your pals here!! The reminder of the horrible oil spill is a wake up call to us all. What can we do to protect the earth from this event that was caused by selfishness and greed? Stay safe everybody.

I haven treally had any plans, but i try to save moneyh on gas buy shopping at like kroger where they have a card, you buy grocery to save on gas or at speedway you can also save afterspending so much money

Maybe hybrids is the way we have to go - give up our sleek racers, BMWs, etc and be humble for a change?

I haven't made any plans to go on vacation but When I do I will have to account for gas prices which means less travel or not as far from home.
