Verizon to Frontier phone bill
« on: August 02, 2010, 11:19:17 am »
Frontier took over Verizon to the tune of 8.3 Billion dollars! I've been trying to pay my bill which was due on the 28th. I always pay my bills on time but when I go to my Verizon online payment account, they no longer recognize me as a customer and I cannot log in to pay my bill. I go to Frontier and there is no phone number there to call and when you click on Paying My Bill, it sends you to Verizon. There is a box to pay your bill without signing in but it will charge you $3.50 to pay. After much jacking around I finally found a # to call Frontier but then they want to charge you $3.50 to pay your bill on the phone!  :BangHead:
First of all, I don't think they should charge me to pay my bill. I refuse to spend an additional $3.50 to pay my bill and secondly, they NEVER SENT ME A BILL!
I just happen to live in an area where I have no option for land line service but through Verizon (now Frontier). I do not want the Magic Jack because then I have to leave my pc on ALL the time and I don't want to do that. Cell phone signal is hard to find in my area and is out of range except for 1 room in my house.
I am so frustrated with all this stuff.
You would think that Frontier could at the very least afford to set up their own web site where you could pay your bill on line.....wouldn't you?

Well I don't have verizon as a land-line but I feel your pain. I know how frustrating it can be. But I can tell you those very same people left me without a job. They laid me off after three years. Now I'm stuck trying to find a job. Because of the layoff I have decided to never buy or use any Verizon products. They took me out of a job, they're not getting my money for anything.

That is really sad. I am so sorry for you. Verizon has screwed me over so many times, I can't even begin and now this crap! I'm reading even more online how people in WV cannot even get land line now since Frontier took over and say they cannot service them. I've called the # I finally found and at this point I have given up and turned it over to my hubby with all the #s to punch in etc and I guess he will eventually get through to the bill matrix to pay the damn bill +3.50.....this has totally ruined my 'day off' with all this go here, go there, punch 1, enter this, enter that and then dead end!

I have Frontier...they sent me an email with a link to a temp site. Follow the instructions after you click on the Red button that says " My Account" on the top right of the page. The link is below:

I understand how you feel.  I got locked out of my own bank account when PNC took over my bank earlier this year.  Neither bank had any of my info, my new account number, or anything.  Each one referred back to the other.  At least my debit card worked.
