I just made my own laundry detergent, and it works better than anything I have ever bought at the store, and SO MUCH CHEAPER. I am just sick of all the money I wasted before. I sued the Fels Naptha Laundry bar soap, Washing Soda, and 20 mule team borax. Just google Homemade Laundry detergent. You will find several recipes.

My husband has been trying different brands of laundry detergent as he has been breaking out with a rash lately.

I wonder how the homemade soap recipies are for allergies, etc.

Quite honestly borax is a detergent already and since every "homemade" recipe I have seen includes it I opt out on this one.
As for allergies, I am allergic to most detergents so I stick to Purex.

We use a Melaleuca product that is good for those with allergies.  We use te no scent one

im living off my parents right now and going to college... all my money goes to gas and "emergency" junk food lol
