If you use PayPal...
« on: July 27, 2010, 07:21:16 am »
If you use PayPal to get your payment, how long does it take to get the payment approved and then into your PayPal account? Thanks!

It takes the standard FC time to recive payment for example if you cash out this month meaning July you would recive payment to your paypal account in the fallowing month August 20th give or take a day or so.

I hope that FC decided to change the date and make payout much faster but for now I'm just grateful to be able to earn.

The 20th of the following month is my guideline.  I've gotten notice on the 19th and on the 21st.

One good thing about FC deposits into PAYPAL, is that there is no PAYPAL deposit fee (2.9%+.$30 levied against it).  Usually when an organization  (ie FC) does mass payments into PAYPAL, they have an arrangement with PAYPAL that the PP deposit fees to members are waived.

No, it does not.  I had used PAYPAL originally; then they established this fee structure, so I switched to direct deposit.  Then I discovered, via the Forum, that the PAYPAL deposit fee did not apply to FC deposits -- probably because FC makes mass payment.  So now I'm back to PAYPAL.  I like that PAYPAL sends me an email when a deposit is made.

FYI if you ever want to send money to a friend via paypal and are not using a credit card, but your bank account, you can send it as a "gift" and there will be no fee for either party
