I will also add the death of another actor on Jan. 15th, 2008. If there is a current thread regarding this actor, my apologies. But I didn't see any.

* Biography:

One of the hottest teen idols of the mid- to late '90s, talented dramatic actor Brad Renfro also garnered adult fans for building an impressive filmography that includes performances opposite some of Hollywood's most respected actors. A native of Knoxville, TN, Renfro was raised by his grandmother following his parents' divorce. He broke into movies at age ten, when he impressed an audience member during a D.A.R.E. (a national anti-drug organization promoted by local police departments) skit (he was playing a drug dealer). This unknown person recommended Renfro to a talent scout who was holding a national open casting call for a young man to play a traumatized boy who finds himself in the midst of a deadly homicide case in Joel Schumacher's The Client (1994). Renfro, who had no training and no real acting experience, won the part and found himself working opposite such heavy hitters as Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon, Ossie Davis, and Mary-Louise Parker. Though such stellar company may have been daunting to others, Renfro held his own and earned positive reviews for his performance. He next played a new kid in town who befriends and decides to find a cure for an AIDS-afflicted boy (veteran child actor Joseph Mazzello) in Peter Horton's heart-tugging The Cure (1995). In 1996, Renfro played Huck Finn to Jonathan Taylor Thomas' Tom Sawyer in Disney's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and then essayed an abused boy (Brad Pitt played him as a vengeful adult) in Sleepers (1996). In 1998, he starred opposite Ian McKellen as a high school student morbidly fascinated by *bleep* atrocities who finds himself drawn to an elderly, sinister war criminal in Bryan Singer's sophomore film Apt Pupil. Renfro was found dead at age 25 in January 2008.

Then she turns around and does the same thing to you that everyone else went postal over- your "grammar lessons". As the saying goes, "Two wrongs do not make a right!"
Just remember though, some people have learning disabilities that prevent them from being spelling/grammar savvy as some of us. THAT'S why I said what I did in a previous thread to you.

But that was in the past and I have moved on. You're right, you have a right to your opinion and I to mine. Let's just leave it at that and be happy!

Life's too short and my time is too precious to be bothered with the opinions of others. How others perceive me is their problem but at the end of the day, I will still be ME!
Another saying that I absolutely live by is this: "I'd rather be hated for who I am. Than to be loved for someone/something I'm not."
I surely don't believe in coming online and changing who I am just to live in a "Internet super highway fantasy life" as many do. Just be yourself and your true friends will love you for being......YOU!

I know what you mean!............and it's funny how someone who that post wasn't even written for, took offense to it and the person it was written for blew it off! And yes.........if someone annoys you that badly on here, we now have the option to hit "ignore". "Some people" went into explicit detail about how upset they were by JBL's posts, so I was letting "those" people know that they have the option to "ignore" him if they took such offense to him. FYI- he didn't upset me to the point where I  had to sit down and write a book in response to him. I wrote once asking him why he would use a site like this because he had mentioned he worked with million dollar companies and such and then I was JOKING with him about his use of "whom" in a sentence. i'm an old hand... and have been online longer than some our our members have BEEN ALIVE! (online since 1985... i met my ex-wife via the telex machine)

i learned long ago... there is nothing anyone can say on a computer that can upset me. but its funny to me when people think they have the power to get into my head in that manner.

so, i joke, then laugh when they try to insult or "flame" me.... internet fighting cracks me up.

BUT! that sorta thing isnt encouraged here, so i backed off.

i mean, my feelings would get hurt for being banned and not having the ability to converse with my new buddies here on FC.

If ya don't like my typing skills or the fact that I'm opinionated (so ASSumptions of me being "fired up" is quite comical), then I suggest that maybe, perhaps, those that give out this advice, use it themselves: "IGNORE!" The way I look at it, if I have someone ignored & they know it, let em make an  of themselves by posting to me when I cannot see it! That alone is worth it to me. It's actually nice coming into a thread and seeing a certain someone has posted but it reads on the bottom of their posts: "(post from ignored user hidden)"
