worst month ever!!!!!

Everything is going wrong with the van. tie rods and axle, high pressure line causing us to leak power steering fluid, pulleys and serpentine belt, and now a dead battery!!!!! Plus our car went to junk because of the engine.

i guess ive been pretty lucky in that area my dad is a mechanic, so i guess if something starts to go wrong with my car he can fix it before it gets to bad

I've been there...it's alot of stress to have the auto repair bills racking up and no car.  (Last year I paid a few thousand to have a car fixed, everyone was telling me to do it because the car is in terrific looking shape and not that many miles.  Six months later it completely died and the same mechanic is like "it needs to go to the junkyard, there's no fixing that".  )  I hope things get better for you soon.

my father in law is having it towed and fixed for us. The alternator is dead and that is why the battery is dead....so I hope that is all that will go wrong for a long time now.

I'm having a bad autocare month myself.  My radiator fan went out while I was on a two hour trek to go visit my dad.  So basically if I get stuck in stop and go traffic my car starts to overheat (hasn't stalled thank goodness), and my a/c went out about three days after that...Now I drive around old school with the windows rolled down, and I'm hoping I simply have to replace the relay for the fan and do a r-134a recharge to the a/c anything more than that and well...the car will just have to make it through because it's got over 170,000 miles on it, I'm not putting any money into that lol.

Adding to my worst month ever... Our roof started leaking last night during a major hard thunderstorm. UGH! It has to end sometime!

I KNOW this really doesn't help ... but when things go wrong and stuff breaks (believe me i know - when I got a divorce my water pipes burst inside the walls flooding my house, my tv broke, my refrigerator broke ... etc) but I know that I am still so blessed to be alive and healthy.  When you have your health and your family, Give thanks to God and Praise him for what you have and what he is going to do for you..... suddenly it seems so trivial.  I'm not saying to you that your problems are not real ... I struggle each day with something but God has brought me a LONG way and I am very very blessed.

I remember when i was living at home our ride keep on breaking down on us. Had to replace the transmission a couple of times. It suck when ur vechile breaks down!!

I would never use that mechanic again.

Things are bad right now and it just feels like we can't catch a break.  I just have to hug my hubbie and kids and know/pray that we will get thru it.

I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time, but don't loose faith that it will all work out. Loosing your mind only makes it worse. I was stressing last week when my car broke down, I can't afford a new one or have any money for repairs. The moment I stopped stressing and actually put my thoughts together I got my hubby to take a look at it himself with a couple of friends just to give it a try and it worked. It cost me 90 dollars, which was better than the $800 a mechanic that drove by and stoped to help said it would be. Have a faith and pray, he never gives you more than you can handle even though sometimes you feel you are under water.

My boyfriend's car is falling apart, too. : And his parents expect him to pay for everything and anything he wants including food even though he's 17, so he has to try and fix it with his pay from a minimum wage job that will only let him work one day a week. Yuck.

Wow it's not just me. Someone put sand in the gas tank and it made it through the fuel lines, pump , and into the engine. It's been in the shop for a week.
