Avocados, first and foremost, are fruits that are very nutrient dense. They act as a "nutrient booster" because they help the body to absorb more fat-soluble nutrients. They are fruits packed with nutrients you need but may not be getting enough of.
I also learned from my daughter that you can make a delicious chocolate pudding with one medium size avocado, semi-sweet dark chocolate, and a tablespoon of milk. Avocados can be used in smoothies as a substitute for bananas.
