Should you be able to text while driving?

I know they just past a new law in ky. No texting while driving. I'm all for it.

Texting while driving should not be allowed; the driver is paying too much attention to the txt msg than to the road.

I am glad they have that law in California!  It is so dangerous.  I know I can barely text normally, never mind when I am trying to drive.  I would probably end up in a ditch or something.

Absolutely not.  Wasn't there a study where they said texting and driving was in many ways more dangerous than driving drunk?  If so, that says it all.

They should also ban everywhere holding a cell phone to your ear while driving.  When did it become okay to not have both hands on the wheel?  There's enough technology there now to go hands free if you really need to talk while driving.

I think some people who know how to text while driving safely should be allowed to do so.

I text before while driving... very dangerous, I get so scare when my husband do it... the law is great... should be all around USA... texting is an unnecessary and dangerous thing to do.

Nothing is that important that you can't wait to text when you get out of the car.

No. it is 4 times more dangerous than driving under the influence.
