I see more offers showing up as "Free" that really aren't free.  With these if you don't complete the registration and then "fulfill the requirements", you don't get credited.  It's in the "requirements" where you find that you have to pay or buy things to complete the process and then get credited.  You'll see something like this:

"complete the following reward offers: 2 Silver offers, 2 Gold offers, and 4 Platinum offers"

That's not exactly a reward for supposedly being free.  Take time to read the initial page, scroll around, read the "terms" before entering your personal information to see that it is just what it says and not something you wouldn't pursue or waste your time with.  Guess it's just hard to keep all the weeds out of the garden.

Very true but thats why you have to do your research and make sure you read the whole offer to see what you are getting yourself into

The offer is a free offer, meaning you do not have to buy anything to get credit in your FC account for participating in the offer.  It is free.  You do not have to buy anything at all.
