I'd be inclined to say it has no impact worth taking into consideration...

I didn't realize how much polution is caused be fireworks until my 8 yr old pointed it out after about 2 dozen or so were set off at the block party.  She pointed out the haze over our block and said look that way there's no haze..

Not to downplay their negative effects, but compare this to a single average airplane flight....

I would have to agree with the comment that it doesn't seem that bad when compared to other things that are happening everyday

I agree-in the big picture, it probably doesn't make that much of a difference.  It would be interesting to see some statistics, though!  How much smoke/pollution does the average fireworks show let off?  Compare that to a car or a plane?  Curious.....
