what should happen to people that drink and drive? I think that they should have too go to some auto accident and have too clean up the mass that is caused by drinking and driving then spend some tine in prison .

Do you have any idea how many new prisons would have to be built in order to house each and every person who gets caught driving under the influence?! That is ridiculous to even pose as an answer.

I am not including someone who takes the life of another person/persons while doing so. In that case, prison time is warranted, the same as any other 'murderer'.

I think a one strike and your out is needed...one conviction and put that breathalizer dealy in the car...if they kill someone it should be a harsh punishment. Those people know the potential consequences and disregard them..it should be the equivalent of voluntary manslaughter.

I think they should have to do prison. A young man in our are was drinking and driving. He had an accident that killed his girl friend, now he has to live his life with the guilt that he killed his girl friend.
