Grating Cheese
« on: July 01, 2010, 05:47:58 am »
I am not the one who came up with this but thought I could share:  "When grating blocks of cheese, spray the grater with cooking spray.  The grated cheese seems to fall right off, so there's a lot less waste.  Cleanup is a breeze, too."

It also helps to put the cheese in the freezer for about 10 min. Same with raw meat that needs to be sliced thin, partially frozen helps it slice better.

Thank you for that advice. I didn't know you can spray the grater to get the cheese off. I was wounder about that.

Wow I didn't know that either. Thank you for sharing. Grating cheese is a pain in the butt. Next time I do this I will try your tip! :)

I know it always sticks to the grater - so annoying.
