Cooking Tips
« on: June 25, 2010, 11:29:14 am »
So I thought if anyone wanted they could share some cooking tips with me.  I have been experimenting with cooking for a while, and just started getting into it and trying to cook the best meals that I can.  So and tips, let me know.  I did learn that you should brown your meat on medium heat to cook thoroughly (I usually cook it on high to hurry up and get it browned) and also, to let your ground beef set on the counter for a half an hour before cooking.  Also, allow 5 hours per pound when defrosting (which I think is  :bs: because I tried it on my chicken and it was still frozen).

I have a recipe blog, if anyone wants to take a look: www.recipeswithnicole.com  I plan to put some pictures up with some recipes also, to help explain things.  I know that seeing things usually helps me out!
