broken bones?
« on: June 23, 2010, 09:32:04 am »
I have a friend who has a 10 year old. He sleeps on the top bunk under his younger brother.  This morning he rolled off of the bunk and onto the floor breaking his foot.  He's okay.  He is happily playing video games and asking his mom to get him this and that every five minutes.  lol

I have been fortunate enough to have never broken anything in my life.  Has anyone here had any broken bones?

I don't think I've ever had the misfortune to break anything...however :confused1:, I have one toe that looks like it's trying to get away from the rest, so maybe it was broken and I just don't remember??

I have had more broken bones than anyone I know....broke my left wrist in 3 spots, both my ankles, a couple fingers, a couple toes, and my nose numerous time...thank goodness none of them were at the same time though!

I broke my leg in 4th grade.  I was skiing in my front yard with one ski and no poles with my  brother throwing snowballs at me.  Kids...

Yes I have broken my wrist the growth bone when I was around 8-10 yrs old.  They had to rebreak it due to it not healing correctly. I went a whole year with 6 different casts and 2 braces.  Made summer very hard for me being that young.  I also fractured a bone in my shoulder from a car acciedent with a friend I was passanger and go worst end of that one.  They had to adjust it and shave the bone so if I have a purse on that should it some times slides off very easily.  I almost broke an ankle stepping off a curve the wrong way last yr doctor say it would of been better if I had broken it. Still gives me trouble.  Had several broken toes growing up due t horse stomping on them on purpose most of the time.  Not fun for sure hope you never have to experience a broken bone.

I was a wild kid who readily accepted dares and did crazy things. I have had many adventures where I should have broken the majority of my bones but somehow I have managed to avoid it.

I broke a finger a couple of years ago when a car hit my bike and I fell off.  Hasn't been right since.

The only thing I've broken is a finger, when I was playing football with the kids. One time I fell off my horse and the doctor said I broke my wrist, but I looked at the xrays and it didn't look like there was any fractures.
