Note to self......
If you have never played soccer before, and its your first time, don't be a goalie!!!! Especially if the person you are kicking around with plays with in his uniform and kleetes all of the time!!!!!!!

There was this guy that I was good friends with in my neighborhood when I was in grade school. He was a (footbal)soccer player back in his home country, and when he moved, he also played in the states, so we kicked the ball around every once in a while after school. Sometimes his little brother joined us too.

We were playing in the middle of the street one day,and he kicked the ball at me hard, like he was kicking a goal, and I turned around way too late to catch it properly, put my hands out okwardly, and it totally smashed my pinkie!!!! My family and myself didn't even know it was broken for about a week untill it started hurting- like a mug!!!!!!

Worst pain-EVER!!!!!!!!!

When I went to the doctor, they had to rebreak it, and put it back into place while I watched-no antisthetic whatsoever!! I screamed!!!!
My pinkie is still deformed on the knuckle, and it really hurts when it rains. But its okay, I had a crush on that kid, he was a cutie! I got lots of love and sympaty from him after!!!!! Wonder if he's playing world cup soccer now, hmmm............. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Let's just say I took one for the neighborhood team!!!!

I got hit by a car when I was 12, horrible but I remember my legal guardian at the time took a wire hanger straightened it so I could scratch myself in the cast. HAHA they say your not supposed to but the darn cast makes your body itch!!

I know what you mean. Although I never goalie in soccer my sister did until she got to high school. She broke her fingers so many times that once she broke her right pinkie in a pillow fight because a good portion of the knuckle had been chipped off. After that she quit soccer because she figured it would probably be best not to have broken fingers while studying to be a professional percussionist.
As for me, I once broke my ankle when I was 7 years old. I was riding my bike, turned too sharply and fell off. I also remember that I got the cast off on my 8th birthday. I've also sprained my wrists a couple times due to basketball but that's about it.
