Find something you like to do, and find someone who will pay you to do it

If it's not broken, don't fix it.

There is no reality, only perception. (I think someone already said a version of this)

We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Life is pain, highness. Anyone who tells you different is selling something.  Wesley, The Princess Bride

There is a shortage of perfect *bleep* in the world. It would be a pity to loose yours. Wesley, The Princess Bride

Sins can be forgiven, but stupid is forever.

One of my personal favorites is "Karma is a b*tch" - so true, I've seen karma come back around on people in my life multiple times.  I even tell my friends when they do something I don't agree with that karma will come back to get them and sure enough, it always does :-)

I'm not sure this qualifies as a good saying or universal truth but my friends and I always tell one another when someone's shocked we knew how to do something "don't misunderestimate me"  regardless of what you think of Bush II you have to admit, misunderestimate is a classic non-word that's made it's way into the american vernacular.
