New Feature: Email Preferences

We're happy to announce another new feature: email preferences.

Just go to your "Account" page and click the "Email Preferences" link on the top left.  You can then choose which automatic notifications you wish to receive from us.  We hope this empowers you to control your email account's inbox.

This feature was added as part of our ongoing effort to protect your email privacy and convenience.

This is a great addition - thanks FC!  It would be awesome to add another option within that section - letting us choose whether we want to be contacted by other members in the forum.  I understand why personal messages are not available but I wish they were. I think it could be better managed by allowing members to choose whether to turn the option on or off. Having a members blacklist that each member could add spammers to so any unwanted messages would stop might also help keep abuse down. Just a thought!
