 :BangHead: i have tried every diet, pill, and program out there! I'm looking for any advice, tips, tricks or any other way to loose weight!

Same here. Running usually did the best for me. But I recently had foot surgery so that is now out of the question.On the pills though. Acai berry does prety well. YOu have to watch like slim fasts and stuff like that though, because when you stop using them. you are likely to gain what you lost x's 2 back.

The best way my husband and myself lost weight was counting caleries.  We meassured everything we ate and counted it.  We wrote it down and keep the logs to look back at.  We took the time to write down lists of what amount of every single thing in the house that was edible.  That way it made it easier to count just to look at the list and then transfer to our individual sheets set up for each and everyday.   My hubbie lost 95 lbs and I lost 70.  We are going to start doing it again ourselves.  We both need to slim way back down for both of our sakes.  Hope it helps.   :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :wave:

no carbs  it totally works for me  i do something like the atkins diet but more strict. they say its unhealthy but i say  it works x :thumbsup:

Just went to the doctor yesterday.  My last visit was 3 months ago.  Over a 3 month period I lost 32 lbs.  Ready for the secret ? 4 steps: 1)  Watch what you eat. 2) Watch how much you eat 3) Watch when you eat  4) Exercise one-half hour a day, 6 days a week and really work up a sweat.  Was it easy, no, are there benefits, absolutely. Forget the pills , liquids, dietetic cookies, and all the famous name diets, they just don't work because once you get down to your healthy weight and stop using these substitutes for what amounts to a lifestyle change, your weight will go right back up again.

I don't use diets or anything but I like to eat healthy. I rarely exercise but I eat well. Lots of vegetables and fruits, water, bread, chicken, cheerios with strawberries, eggs, fish, just to name a few. Easy on the fried foods, and I rarely eat sweets (cookies, ice cream,candy). I drink a cup of green tea everyday. Doing all that keeps my weight maintained or even makes me lose some, which I'm not trying to do, so I'll start eating more if i notice my butt getting smaller lol. Also it keeps your complexion nice and clear. That's one of the best benefits for me : )

I am working hard on losing weight too and I think exercises and eating well is the key. I have a fat family members around me and I need to fight my genes to get slim. I am ok now with 109lbs but if I stop exercises the weight will be back up. Exercise eating less and exercise again......

oh man if you figure it out let me know!!! haha i tried the "QUICK TRIM" pills they were working as far as speeding up my matabolism and all that AND they game me energy!! but then i go sick :( the flu so i stopped taking them! :( but i LOVED it!! im gonna go back on it! oh and i also bought the "flirty girl fitness" i havent tried it cuz i came to CA for vacation and left it back home but i will keep yall up dated (if your interested)

Drink tons of water, run and try to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Drink soda rarely if at all. (Diet soda is bad, too.)

Because something is fat free doesn't make it healthy. Artificial sweeteners are unhealthy. Aspartame will give you brain tumors.

Don't worry about crap like taking the skin off of your chicken, I guarantee you it won't make a bit of difference in your weight, and the fat in chicken skin has been shown to help prevent cancer and stuff.

Loosing weight can be a challenge. I have tried the following and it has worked for me. I hope it will for you.
1. Remove all animal flesh from the diet,and all their by products (chicken, fish, beef, milk cheese, butter, chocolate.
2. Walk for one (1) hour per day. Walking is the best exercise.
3. Get to bed in a dark room before 10 pm at nights.
4. Increase your water intake.
5. have a fiber rich cereal every day with cashew or almond milk.
6. It two meals per day, and ensure they are five hours apart, and the second one must be at least five hours before bedtime.
7. Spend sometime in meditation, and prayer.

The old fashion method is still the best. You have to reduce your calorie intake and work out. All fab diets do not work and starving yourself is the worse solution of all.

i have a weight loss goal that i've been working
on for about a month (i've lost five pounds so far.
slowly but surely, right?) ...i've been replacing one
meal with fruit -- an unlimited amount of fruit. i eat
it until i'm full, basically. and i usually do this in place
of lunch, because i can take it with me to work,
which helps me from eating out.

...so yeah, instead of my snacky things i usually buy
while grocery shopping (chips, popsicles, sweets) i'm
buying grapes, oranges, bananas instead and i can
munch on those as much as i want without feeling
like i'm cheating  :thumbsup:

i know this first five pounds is probably water weight,
but i'd rather lose is slowly. i think it will help me keep
it off.

I lost 50lbs when I initially cut out soda, desserts and started going to the gym.  A mixture of cardio and weight training has me in the best shape of my life.  I eat desserts now and then and soda about once a week but workout 3-4 days a week for about an hour and a half at a time.

Don't dismiss genetics tho.  Most of my family is lean and healthy (not all tho!) so it may be that genetically I am predisposed to having an easier time of losing weight and getting fit.   :dontknow:
