Does anyone use the post office anymore?

       I feel the same way. The Internet has revolutionized the way we communicate with family, friends and business. The USA mail is so low and ineffective that I usually go to the Internet first...the results are faster...much, much faster than the USA Postal Service.

Yes I do.  Because of the size of the town that we live in we don't have mail delivered to our house.  I know weird huh?  I had the hardest time with that when we moved here 3 years ago but it is what it is.  I miss having a mail box that I can just walk out to and pick up mail.

My family still prefers getting handwritten notes from me so I use the post office still. I heard that due to economic set-backs, the post office may not be delivering mail on saturdays soon.

OMG! No...that is sad! I use to always have a book of stamps. Now, I pay all my bills online or by phone. It is more convenient.

Still use it for Christmas cards, birthday cards and some bills that I can't do online.

Use email and online bill pay as much as possible.  Email's a God send when you need to communicate to lots of people quickly!

yes i do here in arkansas you cant get stamps unless the post office is open crazy huh

I still do to send my children's Activity Log and Work sample out. I have to send them out through the post office.

I pretty much only use the post office to mail packages from sales/purchases on ebay.

i still use the post office a lot especially when i have to mail big packages. they have the flat rate boxes and it doesn't matter how much it weighs.

my use is definitely down.  I use it to ship (have had rotten results with UPS and SpedEx) when I'm doing online selling.  I have a couple bills that cannot be paid online.  once in a great while, I send a traditional handwritten message to someone.  I do like that they offer the "Forever" stamps now, so when the rates change, one doesn't have to scramble for new stamps.  that was brilliant.

Yes I still use the post office. My husband is incarcerated and I mail letters to him everyday and we use a PO Box so I have to check my mail everyday there as well. I would use our home address for the mail but sometimes if our mailbox is blocked because of our neighbors we wouldn't get our mail.

I'm probably one of the few who actually writes letters, but that's because my friend is deployed in Afghanistan and we can't talk any other way.
