The second one didn't get many replys. Probably because a lot of people, including me, said women cheat as much if not MORE than men the first time it was posted. So, there you go. It is definitely not all men. By the way, I am a woman and was cheated on (which promptly ended a 13 year marriage), but I have never cheated. Unless you count checkers with my little brother when I was 8.......

Why does anyone cheat?  Maybe they weren't taught any morals perhaps they have no self respects.  Perhaps they need self reassurance who knows.  I'm not trying to figure out and really don't want to.

It seems like there just isn't any real loyalty anymore with people. It seems like relationships don't last
just like marriages are easily broken. What happened to real love and standing by the person you love
through all ups and downs?

Who decided that humans should be with only one person? Is it the way we are suppose to live or did we make up? My grandparents were together over 50 years but they didn't seem happy.

I cheated a couple years ago but I wouldn't do it again. The reason why I did is because I was lonely. I was only seeing my bf every other week or so. I was tired of waiting by the phone and being dissappointed. I had low self esteem and didn't think much of myself. The night we broke up for the final time he told me he had been sleeping with 7 other girls and that he has a fiancee that his mom wants him to marry. That was really nice having to break the news to my family, even though they didn't like him anyways. And going to the doctor praying he didn't give me aids or some std. I was heartbroken and I thought, well I'm glad i at least messed around on him once. Thank god I've changed and I have a nice guy now. I would never cheat on him he keeps me so happy. I see how love is supposed to be now, and it's definetely not abusive. Let me stop blabbing now.

Because they are unhappy or insecure in the relationship they are in. I feel it's emotional needs for women.

Maybe they are lonely, most men work long hours. IDK that's just a thought. Who knows. I am happily married and have never cheated on my husband nor have ever wanted to. Maybe they should do a poll on how many people are actually faithful in their relationships!!!

I never cheated...I take a relationship seriously and I am very loyal! If you are going to cheat why be in a relationship at all?

I've noticed people cheat to get into relationships, not get into relationships to cheat.
