Thank goodness I've never had a ticket for anything.  When I was 16 I got pulled over for the first time for going 3 miles over the speed limit.  I was verbally warned not to speed and to wear my seatbelt at all times.  It scared me so bad seeing those flasing lights in my rear view mirror, I never got pulled over again.  Im a prude when it comes to driving.

i do not drive anymore- haven't in fact for almost 8 years. but when i did drive, i got one ticket about a year after i got my license. i know a lot of people say they didn't deserve their ticket but i really didn't. the cop claimed i did not stop at a stop sign but i think he was just trying to make his quota and it was the end of the month. i was parked at the curb maybe half a cars length from the corner. i started my car, manual transmission, and in nuetral rolled to the corner as i put my purse down and buckled my seat belt.at the stop sign i braked, shifted into first and took off. so if anything, i deserved a ticket for not wearing my seat belt for 10 feet but not for running a stop sign. luckily, when i went to court to fight it the cop didn't even show up so my ticket was dismissed!

2 tickets when I was 23 haven't had a ticket in 27 years so I learned a good lesson when I was young.
