So this is Simon's last season on idol, do you think the show will be the same when he's gone? I personally think that with Simon being gone it is gonna be the end 2 American Idol!  :o

I think Idol will be the same...people said the same thing about Paula but it survived. I think the ratings will go down but people wil still watch it.

Awful? Yes.
Annoying? Definitely.

They're probably going to pull some 17 year old girl off the street and tell her to make fun of people's singing.

It will be the same to me because I've hated the show with Simon and I'll keep on hating it without him. Not my kind of television

I used to be a fan of idol, but last year I just lost my taste for it. Simon was my favorite and I have to say the show will never be same after he is gone. I can see the show losing some of it's audience in the future.

i don think American idol would get as many viewers...lately the viewer count has been dropping each season. it drasticly changed when Paula left, and ratings and viewers are gonna drop even more since simon i leaving. Paula was the nice, sweet, compasionate female of the judges. everyone loved to hear her compliments. Simon is the witty, smart-mouthed critic. Especially during auditions i personally enjoy hearing his horrible comments. Also, its funny how some contestants try to suck it up to Simon. He is known to speak his mind, and will be very well missed

I believe the show will last one more season and them its over. Not only because Simon is leaving but because well American Idol is getting pretty boring, I mean their ratings were falling this season. So I say one more season then its over.
