Tracking your website
« on: May 21, 2010, 04:28:51 pm »
I've read a bunch of tips about putting your referral link or banner on your website. I'm wondering if anyone uses Google Analytics or any other companies to track the hits their websites get? I'm curious what the average traffic to your site is, and how often it results in a referral. I just signed up for Google Analytics so I'll know soon if my website even gets any traffic  :P

I tracked my new blog for a while and averaged 150 visits a day, but I haven't promoted much, just help people. The money will come later.

Google Analytics is great. If you're hosting your blog on your own domain, you should also be able to get traffic stats from your website host, like AW Stats. They offer a different way of looking at the numbers. Either way, it may be difficult to track how your website traffic converts to Fusion Cash signups unless your site is completely dedicated to Fusion Cash and nothing else because that is another type of tracking.

I really enjoy tracking my blog to see who clicks on my referral links! It helps me decide if I have it on the right page, or if I am giving enough information and things of that nature!

I'm working on developing the content of my site now. It's a domain I've had for awhile, but this is motivating me to finally start working on it - added FC bonus :)

So far the only visits to my site appear to be me, lol. Any ideas or suggestions for how to increase traffic? The one idea I've had is answering questions on yahoo questions that pertain to my site and including a link to the site as a source....

My best advice would to be to hop onto a search engine and find out some information about seo and things like that.

Sounds like the easiest way to go would be to simply put it on your site, and then tell people to join it. You know, advertise. I mean, who 'doesnt' want to make free money?
His....power level....ITS OVER 9000!!!
