scheduled feedings for baby`s

Do you think a baby should be kept on a schedule or just fed whenever they cry?

Newborns should be fed as often as they are hungry.  That isn't necessarily the same thing as every time they cry.

As they get older and their little tummies can hold more food, they will be able to go longer periods of time between feedings.  You and the baby will discover the "schedule" that works best for you two.

I nursed our four children and feeding time was an incredible time for us.  You are one on one with that child.

i really dont believe in a schedule. i think that it is wrong to do that to your kids especially infants. if a child is hungry they should eat. a baby will let uknow when they are hungry. say u feed your baby @ 1pm n an hr later theyre hungry, well drs say 2 feed every 2 hrs to 2 1/2hrs. well if your baby is hungry an hr later, i say feed them, u dont wanna feel like your are starving ur baby.

well update she is still eating ,but not as much ,seems to be calming down .Thanks for all the advice.
