Daily emails a scam?
« on: May 14, 2010, 12:33:21 pm »
I signed up to receive the daily emails and got my first one today. I clicked on it and it wanted me to click on the ad to get rewarded. No problem, that makes sense - BUT - then a pop up came up that said something like "To Get Your Reward Click on Two or Three of the Offers You Are Interested In On the Next Page" and when I got to that page the "offers" were Adsense links  - and essentially this is scamming those Google (or whatever they were) advertisers. I immediately unsubscribed from the emails. Please tell me this is not the way Fusion Cash does things?!? I have been a member for years and had just recently got back into doing this because I thought that this was one of the legitimate programs out there. I hope this does not get deleted, I would love to hear that this is still a legitimate program!

Thanks for listening!

I have never had that problem with the daily emails. They just have you click on the email and a page pops up and you click on the offer on the page that pops up and thats it. Maybe you clicked something wrong but I have  never heard of this problem.

Thanks for your response. When you say "offer" do you mean a Google Adsense link?

To be more specific with what happened - it was a page about satelite T.V. and it was a list of Google Adsense ads that they wanted me to click on.

Did you get credited for the paid email?

Yes, I did get credited. I am concerned though that they are trying to get people to do fraudulent activity. There is a trick with the wording - it looks like we get paid whether or not we click on the Adsense ads - they are just trying to solicit fraudulent clicks to make money from these unsuspecting advertisers. Here is how it works - you can have a website and display Google Adsense on it. You will get paid by Google whenever someone clicks on the Adsense ads on your website - however - you CANNOT solicit clicks to pad your earnings.

People advertise on Google to reach customers who are interested in their products or services - and they pay every time someone clicks on their ad. I know because I have a business and advertise on Google all of the time. I don't advertise on Google though to have people "get paid" to click on my ads - because in essence I would be paying people to click on my advertisement - kwim? What is happening here is against Google Adsense TOS. I am not sure if Fusion Cash is behind this or someone who is advertising through Fusion Cash. Either way, Fusion Cash needs to remedy this situation, and hopefully they will!

you make a valid point I would like to hear what the ADMIN/FUSION STAFF have to say about it. I doubt they are in on anything fraudulent. But I guess we will have to wait for a reply from them :)

Just follow the exact instructions of the paid emails. Just click on the ad and you get credited, Anything after that is COMPLETELY up to you and if you are interested in the advertisers offer, do it. Fusion Cash is not forcing you. Fusion is paid to advertise companies through the emails and what those companies want to put in their advertisements is up to them.

I never had any problems out of them. I just wish it could be more than just .02 cents though. It seems like a long process to make money by doing just .02 cents everyday.

I get paid from mine every time.

As far as it being fraudulent, I don't think so.  You know it's probably Adsense, so you have the choice to click or not.  FC is just asking you to click 2 ads.  If they're getting paid for us clicking the ads, then they can pay us in return.

Where do you think their money comes from?  Out of the blue?

Never had a problem with the paid email. But I usually have my pop-up and ad blocker on so that may block the Adsense ads. And even if they did come up, I'd ignore them and just focus on the email topic: click on the link on the landing page; let it load, confirm I got credit and then close it.

I've been doing the emails for a few days and haven't had any problems. Sounds like you clicked on an ad and realized you made a mistake and now you need someone to blame. No one put a gun to your head and forced you to sign up for the daily email.
