takes too long to get paid!
« on: December 28, 2007, 07:09:19 am »
IMO. paypal accounts should be paid within 24 hours.
I may be new"ish" but i'm no novice. and this whole " PENDING" thing for cashout is getting beyond rediculous.
I understad fully "Bulk mailing" checks once a month is the most efficient way , but if the accounting behind this site cannot pay a paypal a measly $25 within 24-48 hours , well, I think there's something wrong.

I never refer any of my friends to sites untill i can verifiy PERSONALLY i've been paid, and so far this is not looking promising.

while the greedy part of me agrees with u, the practical part of me..has to understand why some sites choose to pay this way...it may not be that the site does not have the funds, but there has been a ridiculous amount of fraud within gpt sites lately, and if those gpt sites all paid out as soon as someone requested, the fraudsters would have a field day...

No one would even bother using legitimate info, if all u had to do was fill out a survey and get paid as soon as u hit 'submit'...there are other sites like FC with up to 150,000 members, i would imagine for most site owners payin up like you suggest would be a bookkeeping nightmare....however there are some sites that do payout as soon as u hit their minimum, but those sites are rare now, they need time to figure out who is legitimate and who is taking advantage of them...

It is odd how so many sites have different payout times tho, when they usually have the same offers on their sites...but one site will pay u within 24 hours, one pays out every two weeks, another pays in 30 days, while another one pays in 35 days (i tend not to trust those 35 day sites) 30 days is enough time to do any damn thing regarding LendaL's money... ;D

i think about the various amounts of money that im owed among these gpt sites and wish like hell they could all get together an pay Lendal her damn money (the lil beast on my profile pic needs braces, so i need my cash

I wouldn't worry about it.  You will get paid.  I understand your apprehension but just wait another week or two and you will have your money.  Good things come to those who wait!

it really don't have much to do with doing it the easy way... they make you wait due to fraud.. there r alot of people on gpt sites that try to fraud the advertisers n the sites... so put it this way.. say you did thing flasly... the site paif your paypal in 24 hours.. you tranfered the money elsewhere.. the site finds out you used flase info or did the same offers muliple times on other sites.. then what they do? they already paid you.. most they could do is turn u in n wait n hope on repayment.. or take it outta your account making it - .. or ban you. but then you don't have to do more offers so the - don't help as they would have nothing to take the money back from.. you see what i mean? it's all due to people having to lie n make up fake info that we have to wait. there used to be alottt of 24 hour pay out sites and weekly.. but now due to this.. most have gone net 20/ net 30 or even longer. one of the sites i know does cashouts 3 times a week. and you get it in your paypal that night... but due to all the fraud.. she now only has freebies on her site so she can check them before paying out.

I am surprised to hear paypal takes so long, as other sites it is pretty instantaneous.  As for checking for fraud it would make more sense to do that before approving an account and before approving each of the offers; not wait until payment requests come in.

Good Luck and congrats on making it to that point.

it's not paypal that they mean takes that long. they mean the site sending to paypal.. waiting on cashout approval... and that's why it stays in pending so long. the site can't control doing it offer by offer when they are done as some offers are instantly approved by the advertiser not the site... and they don't really look into the info on them until after when it's time to pay the site.. also alot of sites wait to make payment as....  you get paid a % of what they get paid per offer... there for when they get thier funds from the advertisers, they use those to pay you. so.... you would'nt beable to pay someone money if you did not have it in hand at the moment would you? there is a few reasons why it takes so long....

the thing i don't get.... it states the waiting time for cashouts in the tos when you join...... you are supposed to read them before you agree to them.... so why is it so many people agree to them then come in here yelling and whining about how long the payments take and so forth? and no hun i don't mean you.. your new you were asking a  honest question... i'm talking about the ones that go off and start yelling fraud and scam site all because they can;'t get their funds when they want them. because they have to wait

I don't get any of the complaints on how long it takes to get paid

This is free money!  I would rather have the money in 3 weeks than not have it at all! Who cares when it comes as long as a certain time frame has been set?

Look, I am a newbie, but I been around the net for a long time. It is not surprising that many DO NOT READ the tos on sites. I was like you long ago, but now I found patience to be more of a virtue than to fuss about $25 bucks. They pay out the money just as stated in the TOS if you cashed out expect payment on or about January 20th.

And, The smidgen part about Customer Service Drives traffic, well, if not for sites like this offered, then we wouldn't be able to gain monies doing many of these FREE offers made AVAIALABLE by the site.

You can look at it either way, but you can read through the forums and see all the ones who have been paid pretty self explanatory, maybe not when you wanted it like 24-48 hours, but they pay, I believe until I am proven wrong, then I gripe ;)

*like...

and as I understand it, everyone doesn't get paid. Even when there's nothing seemingly wrong or foul. I think the fact that one has to be "approved" to receive monies owed to them makes a lot of us nervous. Who wants to fill out these surveys, give out their credit card numbers over the course of 30 days, etc on a gamble of whether or not it's in vane? I agree that paypal accounts should be debited within 24-48 hours and if I'm not mistaken, I read that somewhere on the site that it would be. Hint Hint... 24-48 hours after it's approved as opposed to 2-3 weeks if it were a check.

This website blows away all of it's competition by far (in theory) considering the sign ups and surveys that pay mostly a dollar, where other sites I've been with give 5 cents and 25 cents. But now the question is, will I ever see the money that appears in the "account balance" box? - I've never had a problem trying to get approved or disapproved and waiting 20 years to get my money from the other places. I mean, again, having to be approved or disapproved after waiting soooo darn long is excruciating! Then some people being denied for the same cash out 2 months in a row?! How do you not get upset?

That's funny from someone who hasn't gotten their money yet. lol. I agree with you to an extent but at the same time, I'm wondering heavily about this "approval"/"disapproval" factor. I filled out the surveys... I referred the people... don't give me crap! lol... basically. Point is, the surveys are getting filled out (the company is getting paid) so what's the problem? I've yet to receive credit for 2 offers over 10 dollars and I'm a bit nervous about it especially considering I had to give my credit card number out for a service I wanted but didn't have to have. (yeah, that's my problem, I know) But still. Why is this so complicated?  :sad1:

I think I can help you on that one. I did an offer for $10 and it stated I would not receive credit until I was signed up with them for a full five days. So, maybe that is what the hold up is. Matter of fact, it was the yahoo kit one..so, perhaps it is just they have to receive your information and verification of signup from that company and have a waiting period to make sure you did not sign up and cancel right away to get the credit  ;)

And, as for referrals, I referred a few and got my credit for them signing up and doing an offer. ;D

This is not free money.  The site is paid for a service provided, in turn they pay members for a service provided.  It is not FREE money.

I use to run a GPT site. The affliates(The ones who provide offers) do not pay them on January 1st. They pay them between the 15th to the 25th of the next month. So fusion cash has to wait for the money before sending out thousands of dollars. Say they send out thousands of dollars and later to find out there was something wrong at the affiliate and now they are not sending the money, now they are out a lot of money. 99% of all GPT sites are set up like this. Be grateful. If you want to get paid faster get a job.
