I am so sick of those Dish Network TV commercials,I could hurl. Does anyone besides me know what a scam they are? I have had Direct TV for seven years and I wouldn't trade for the world. Dish network doesn't give you half the channels and of the ones they do have are all Music channels! The price they claim is so low doesn't include a whole lot of hidden charges and they even charge you to cancel after you find out what a joke they are.Direct TV,on the other hand,has loads of channels that are 100% free with standard package,including music,sports,local channels,movie channels (ok,for HBO,etc-you will pay a little more)
but for each movie channel you purchase-the more you buy ,the less it costs you monthly). Plus the HD quality is the bomb(and I don't mean that in a bad way). They have pay-per-view and let's not forget The Game Lounge!

I have never tried dish network. I  have had directv for many many years for my kids and have never had any problems.

Not to mention the customer service is superb!
