Google, ebay, yahoo "make money kits"
« on: December 26, 2007, 04:40:57 pm »
Ive done quite a few of the offers that are the kits to make money on google, ebay, etc where you start your own website and its a free trial. But i noticed.. almost all of these sites look very similar in their layouts and offer a membership trial to "tradeworks product club" as well. Ive done it once and it wasnt a problem.. but what about the other ones? If i do those as well, will i be signed up for that same tradeworks product club, and since i already did the free trial, it might charge me..

has anyone else noticed the similarity between all these "kits"? it seems like its from the same company, just different types of kits. i would do the rest of em, but im not sure i wanna risk getting charged $50+ just because i did a similar offer by the same company.

no, you do not get charged. i've done a few.. now there is a few that are from the same advertiser also... those ones will tell you when you try getting the trail that you have already done the trail... like i did a google one. but then when i tryed ebay one. it said i already had done the trail due to joining for the google. so ether way you won't be charged as it lets you know you've done it n can not get the trail. then asks you if you still wish to join without it :)

I am also weary about signing up for anything that requires a credit card. As it is.. it seems like my mailbox is flooded every single day with offers for stuff that I am just not interested in, but unfortunately had to sign up for their mailing list in order to get credit on another offer. It's totally insane. And.. there are quite a few that I finally requested to unsubscribe from their mailing list and I STILL get emails every day from them.

The best advice that I've seen on here is to get a pre-loaded credit card.  It's like a gift card with a certain amount, but it works like a credit card.  They are available at a lot of retailers.  That way, you only load onto it the amount that is actually required to send to the company, and bam, if there's shady dealings, they can't get anything else b/c the card has nothing on it.

I see the similarity in a lot of them, which is never ending.  A lot of them use the same formats over and over again.

This is a really good idea.  I never thought of it.  Thanks  :notworthy:

Haha, don't credit me, I'm just passing along what I heard.  I'm trying to do the credit required offers as little as possible because of complications with my address.... the mail doesn't like to try to find me, so my chances of actually receiving anything I sign up for are slim.  Once I get it figured out though...

I noticed the samething. Me right now i'm more interested doing free offers. They don't credit not a big deal. If a paid offer end up not credited when you actually spend over $20+ that's a huge problem :BangHead:

None of these offers will complete for me. I put in my card information, & it says declined every time, even though there IS money in the account  :bs:

perhaps you did a similar offer from the same company?

Check their web address on lookup whois domain and you should get some corporate info about their domain registrant data.

Stealth, I have never done an offer like that before.

Besides, even if I had... surely it would give a different message than "card declined"!

Make sure that the name & address you are entering for the offer is *EXACTLY* how it appears on your credit card billing info.  I worked for a major bank for several years and that was the biggest issue we had w/ calls about declined cards -- credit & debit cards.
